Our Team

Meet the Epworth Medical Foundation team:

Scott BulgerScott Bulger: Executive Director

Scott Bulger joined the Foundation as its Executive Director early in 2012, with an extensive background in national and international development for charitable and not-for-profit organisations.

Scott is personally dedicated to Epworth’s mission of ensuring all patients receive the best possible care, and considers himself privileged that he has the opportunity to meet so many of our patients, staff and donors on a daily basis. He is happy to receive calls and visits from our supporters, and would be pleased to meet with you to answer any questions you have about the Foundation.

Before joining the Foundation, Scott was Pro Vice-Chancellor (Development and External Relations) at Bond University, where he established and built the University’s Development Office, which funded significant capital developments, research grants, scholarships and student opportunities.

Prior to this he spent almost a decade in development and leadership for ChildFund International, one of the world’s largest development charities, dedicated to alleviating child poverty.

If you’d like to speak with Scott about any aspect of the Foundation’s work, he would welcome your call.

Vanessa DannockVanessa Dannock: Donor Relations Manager

“I’m the point of contact for anyone interested in leaving a gift to Epworth Medical Foundation in their Wills, and for those who have already decided to do just that.

“Gifts in Wills are arranged by people who are making a powerful statement, today, about their values and their hopes for the future.

“At the Foundation, our goal is to ensure that Epworth remains at the cutting-edge of medical practice, to ensure that our patients continue to receive the best possible care. This is only achievable thanks to the generosity of our donors and bequesters.

“It is exciting to be part of an organisation that provides its patients with one of the most advanced oncology services in Victoria, and is recognised as a Centre of Excellence for acquired brain injury and rehabilitation, cardiology, maternity, urology, gastroenterology, and orthopaedics.

“If you need any information about leaving a gift to Epworth in your Will, please do not hesitate to be in touch. I am happy to answer all of your questions, hopefully over a cup of tea if you’d like to pop in!”
