Medical milestones celebrated at Women’s Health Lunch
We’re grateful for the generosity of major sponsor Zella, led by Group CEO Dimitrios Zartaloudis (pictured here with his wife Maria and colleague Linden Hamidon at left).
The 12th annual Women’s Health Lunch was deemed an outstanding success, with over 550 guests attending this important event.
The lunch not only celebrates the many women who make Epworth the truly remarkable organisation it is, it also raises funds to ensure these talented women can continue to be supported and acknowledged well into the future through the Epworth Future Women’s Forum.
Event MC Dr Chantel Thornton reflected on the importance of this event.
“As a specialist breast cancer surgeon, I am passionate about allowing women to live their best lives and have made women’s health my life mission. I am honoured to be involved with an organisation that recognises the value of women in our community.”
Guests heard from three outstanding clinicians presenting on the topic ‘Medical Milestones for Women’ – including dietician Amy Kaplan, endocrinologist Dr Roisin Worsley and exercise physiologist Natasha Machado.
They reflected that through different stages of life, women experience varied physical and mental health needs. There is no one standard solution, with diet, hormonal balance and exercise playing a crucial role in ensuring women can live their best possible lives, no matter what age.
We are grateful to our major sponsor Zella, led by Dimitrios Zartaloudis as Group CEO and Victoria Devine, Director and Financial Advisor, for supporting the Women’s Health Lunch once again. Thank you for your ongoing generosity.
